Our "Shimmeria Pendant", 1-1/2" W X 1- 1/2" H, is a kiln-formed Pendant  from our "Coral Reef Series", created by Liz & John @ Nartique Glass, Gold Plate Leaf Bail (Necklace not included)

This handmade, kiln-formed piece was collaboratively created by glass artists, Liz Renee and John Witanowski, though a series of 3 firings:  first the design and casting of segments, cold working and fire polishing elements, and then the final tack fuse to create a single, stunning pendant.

We, John & Liz, are Florida artists that love the sea, and the imagery it suggests to us!  Most of our art attempts to capture some facet of that which fascinates.  If you wish to read more about us ... see the "About Us"  section of this website! 

All of our pieces are one-of-a-kind, and evoke very special, personal reminisces of the sea and its creatures ... many of which we have experienced through our sailing and diving in the Caribbean.

All our works are made from a combination of Bullseye glass with CBS dichroic glass, designed to create a delicate layering of transparent colors, capturing a sense of depth and movement, along with subtle changes in the reflection of light.  This also makes them extremely difficult to photograph!  Each piece is even more exciting and dramatic in person!
